The Brigade toady
The Brigade offers a learning experience to its members. It seeks to create a bridge between formal and informal learning. The SB offers unique opportunities through additional activities such as the opportunity to learn, through drill and uniforms, smartness; play an instrument, camping and hiking skills, life skills and most important how to be active in a disciplines organization through volunteering. Members of the SB are encouraged to develop as individuals by targeting their spiritual, physical and social aspects of their life. The aims of the SB include also the raising of awareness of young people to the needs of others locally, nationally and globally. Currently, the SB is responding positively to a challenging renewal. Besides the change in uniform and it structural administration, the SB is clearly more part of the Oratory as it is inviting new comers to join in. The Band and outdoor activity remains its fulcrum.
